Graphire 4 Introduces New Features, New Look A Graphire Bluetooth 6x8 model that provides up to 30 feet of wireless freedom was introduced in April 2005. A tablet with a 6"x 8" active area, for even more control, was added to the Graphire line in September 2003. Graphire included leading software titles from Adobe and Corel for editing photos and creating digital drawings and paintings. Both devices worked smoothly on the compact 4"x 5" active area of the tablet. ![]() A highly accurate, cordless mouse that did not require a battery or use a mouse-ball was included. The patented, pressure-sensitive, cordless pen was the foundation of the product. The Graphire product line debuted in 1999 with the introduction of the first sub-$100 battery-free pen, mouse, and tablet.
